The British boxer prepares to battle the American YouTuber in an eight round match which will be shown live on the streaming platform.
Briton Joshua declared he will "dominate completely" the American and "overpower" the American as the two fighters came face-to-face to promote the upcoming boxing match.
Ex two-time unified boxing king Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a mammoth uneven pairing - at Miami's arena on 19 December.
Fighter's Attitude
"I'm going to break his face and hurt his body. I'm here to prove I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35, declared.
"I will dominate him completely. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I'm going to seriously aim to hurt him. That's my intention."
Civil Interaction
Despite these statements, a composed Anthony Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - typically recognized for his dramatics - shared friendly words and maintained decorum with each other.
Jake Paul instead attacked ex Joshua opponent the Cameroonian fighter and called him "not serious" after Ngannou declined a fight offer.
Taking Aim at Fury
Joshua, in the meantime, targeted British opponent Fury - and declined a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a Paul victory.
"[Paul] is better than Fury - he showed up," Joshua stated.
"I give him credit for that."
Serious Fighter
In spite of stating he plans to punish Paul, Joshua refused to comment unfavorably about his rival's pugilistic talent.
"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he said.
Jake Paul's Background
Jake Paul - who first rose to fame on the Disney Channel - has mostly boxed MMA fighters or faded names since becoming pro.
He lost to British fighter Tommy Fury in 2023.
Financial Attraction
Still, the inexperienced fighter remains one of the sport's largest money-making draws, regularly earning huge earnings.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28 year old forecast a knockout win in the fourth or fifth round and claimed he would prevent the much-anticipated Joshua–Fury fight, which is reportedly under discussion for two years from now.
"It's going to be my match with Fury in the coming year," Paul declared.
Physical Disparity
As Joshua and Paul met for the usual stare-down, with their physical disparity evident, it drove home just how improbable this whole event is - and how remarkable it is that the fight is actually going ahead.
